In this age of bigger is better we’ve decided to buck the trend, we’re going smaller. From next week you’ll be able to order the Picollo.

The Picollo is a Coffee House staple all across Europe, something that is more akin to what you may be served in Milan or Rome. It is a small 6oz cup with a double shot, topped with milk. This allows you to actually taste the coffee you’re drinking instead of the milk. As great as milk is it’s no substitute for a cup of energising black nectar, and for the calorie conscious out there it’ll be significantly lower in calories and price, at just £1.80.

Why would you want to charge us less I hear you say? We whole heartedly believe that it is our job to make beautiful coffee available for everyone and quite frankly we’re sick of these big chains telling us all that it is right to drink a 20oz cup of milk with a dash of coffee.

So, in short, the next time you want a cup of espresso with milk then Picollo is the one for you.
